Hon. Evans Onumah Coleman, the Municipal Chief Executive(MCE) for Agona West together with the Member of Parliament(MP) for Agona West Hon. Cynthia Morrison on Wednesday 18th May, 2022 commissioned an ultramodern Kindergarten (K.G) Block for Agona Edukrom Basic school.

Agona West was adjudged the most performing MMDA in Central Region in area of Environmental Health and Sanitation management for the year 2021.
The Assembly also won the same award in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
It therefore means the Assembly has won it 4 years on the roll.

He recieved a total of 41 out of 44 votes cast by assembly members present.
