The Municipal Chief Executive of the Agona West Municipal Assembly, Hon. Eric Gyamfi Odoom has held a meeting with executives of the Agona West Scrap Dealers Association, a meeting whoch was seen as a positive step towards addressing the rampant indiscipline and theft within the municipality.

In a move that signals their commitment to restoring order, leaders of the association proposed the formation of a joint taskforce to crack down on unscrupuloud individuals particilarly truck pushers, who tarnish their trade.

9TH MAY 2025

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon . Eric Gyamfi Odoom on Wednesday, 9th May 2025 inspected ongoing works on the Agona Nyakrom bridge and also interacted with road users within Agona Nyakrom. He also solicited their views on the construsction of the new bridge. Both drivers and road users were very happy and showed a lot of admiration for the construction of the new bridge and prayed for the completion of same so they can use it.

6TH MAY 2025

The Agona West Municipal Assembly on Monday, 5th May 2025 held a crucial meeting with the executives of the Okada Riders Association ( Agona West Branch) to discuss challenges facing their operations and them modalities for the legalization of commercial motorcycle also known as Okada business in Ghana proposed by the President H.E. John Dramani Mahama.

The Municipal Chief Executive of the Agona West Municipal Assembly, Hon. Eric Gyamfi Odoom on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025 paid a courtesy call on Okofo Katakyi Nyarko Eku X, the Chief of Agona Nyakrom. The purpose of the vis was to express his heartfelt gratitude for his invaluable sopport throughout his journey to becoming the Municipal Chief Executive. the MCE reaffiremed is contribution to prioritizing the development of Agona West.

The Agona West Municipal Assembly has held a confirmation ceremony for the Government nominee, Hon. Eric Gyamfi Odoom as the Municipal Chief Executive at the forecourt of the Agona West Municipal Assembly on Wednesday 16th April 2025.

The long-awaited completion of the Construction of the 60 No. Lockable Stores at Mandela Market is finally here. The project which commenced in 2019, though met several Safeguard Issues has finally been handed over to the Client, the Agona West  Municipal Assembly on February 26, 2025.

The Agona West Municipal Assembly in collaboaration with the Regional Health Directorate on Friday, 14th February 2025 organised an emergency health committee meenting on cholera at the Assembly's conference room following the recent cholera cases recorded in the Municipality.
