The 2023 National Best Farmer, Mrs. Charity Akotia has paid a courtesy call on the chiefs ans elders of the Swedruman Council. She was assisted by the Agona West Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Evans Addison Coleman, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Sumaila Abudu Ewuntoma, the Director of the Agric Department, Mrs. Agatha Eyipey and some senior staff of the Agona West Municipal Assembly.

Her visit was to formally present her award to the as the 2023 National Best Farmer. She also used the opportunity to thank the Chiefs and elders for the support and prayers during the period and pleaded with them to help support more women who have the interest of going into farming to enable them achieve such laurels.

The Municipal Chief Executive also used used the opportunity to express his appreciation to the traditional council for their immense support in the just ended year and also presented to the the various programmes and projects to be undertaken by the Municipal Assembly for the year, 2024 and solicited their continuous support for the Assembly
